Noted for its minimal and technical designs, the ‘iDiom’ line was originally born out of a collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara of Fragment Design (who lent his experimental prowess, especially where colours, patterns and print were concerned) and Burton Snowboards.
The design of each piece was kept fairly lowkey with the addition of pit zips, taped seams, handwarmer pockets and waterproof zippers, all fundamental elements of skiing and snowboarding outerwear. With Burton Snowboards lending their technical expertise - hence no compromise on such features - Fujiwara and Staple Design were brought on board to design original prints and patterns that would typically never be seen on such performance-driven pieces. When Hiroshi worked with Nike, we saw him take a similar direction in terms of combining functional design with contrasting patterns etc.
